Are you a dynamic Product Manager or someone working in Product/Technical Support who is looking for a role where you can channel your passion for technology and engineering? A ground-breaking organisation located just outside of Bicester is looking for 2 Product Managers to complement their expanding team which is on a growth trajectory. The role is offered on a hybrid basis (2 days Bicester office, 3 days working from home) and would include some travel in Europe, North America and Asia.

These roles would be in the Product Management team helping the company to envision, evolve and mature their hardware and software products. The Product Managers build and align the product development roadmap based on user feedback, changes in technology, and company strategy. The team works closely with customer and engineering teams to define features and functions within their hardware and software products to drive their market-leading technologies forward. The Product Manager role bridges the gap between teams of different expertise, most notably engineering teams and commercially oriented teams (Sales, Support and Marketing).

Presenting to key stakeholders and customers is a key part of this role and successful candidates will be comfortable presenting and explaining technical product information to audiences with various levels of technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers, stakeholders and leaders to set the vision for your market area of focus.
  • Create, review and present market and financial analysis, business use cases and new product visions to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer calls and visits to understand customer needs.
  • Supporting the Commercial team and Solutions team in their discovery, evaluation and delivery of new business opportunities.
  • Determining explicit and implicit customer needs, and translating them into product requirements
  • Generate, maintain and present product road-maps that help solutions to grow, evolve and own the spaces in which they are launched.
  • Give product direction and leadership as part of project teams to achieve company and product goals.
  • Perform ongoing market and competitive analysis to help shape product positioning and value propositions to ensure domination with the new markets entered.
  • Work with marketing teams to assist in marketing communications, campaigns, and the development of product marketing assets.
  • Gathering and addressing feedback and feature requests from customers and Solutions teams.
  • Producing Product documentation in support of sales and marketing activities.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Track record of fostering cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, marketing, sales and other departments
  • A positive attitude with leadership and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple groups and with different personalities in a flexible and successful manner
  • Solid presentation skills
