Location: Birmingham to Worcester, covering Central England
Salary: Up to £40,000 basic, plus additional benefits

Role Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will engage in a variety of electrical maintenance and contracting tasks, working on diverse projects across the region. This role is perfect for someone looking to expand their technical expertise and be part of a supportive, innovative company.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Inspection:

Carry out periodic inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance with NICEIC standards.

Power Distribution:

Install and maintain power distribution systems, including switchgear and circuit breakers.

Low Voltage Switchgear:

Manage the installation and maintenance of low-voltage electrical systems.

Surge Protection Systems:

Provide surge protection installations to safeguard electrical systems.

Emergency Power Systems:

Maintain backup power systems to ensure reliability during emergencies.

Building Control Systems:

Install, service, and troubleshoot automated building systems for energy management.

Temporary Lighting and Power:

Set up and manage temporary lighting and power systems for events and construction sites.

Cable Fault Location and Repair:

Identify and repair faults in electrical cabling systems.

PAT Testing:

Perform portable appliance testing to ensure the safety of electrical equipment.

Structured Cabling:

Install and maintain structured cabling systems for communication and power distribution.


Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • ECS Gold Card holder preferred.
  • Experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
