Description

  • Be responsible for the delivery of outstanding housing management services including the management of tenancies, allocations and community safety
  • Proactively monitor and report on performance
  • Guide, manage and inspire the team
  • Lead the delivery of a proactive and customer-focused service
  • Lead safeguarding across the business
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise neighbourhood services
  • Maintain positive relationships with the community and stakeholders
  • Oversee the management of resources and budget
  • Ensure the team meets key performance indicators
  • Act as a point of contact for any issues or concerns
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive team environment
  • Stay informed on industry developments and implement best practice

Profile

A successful Neighbourhood Services Manager should have:

  • Excellent level of housing law and practice knowledge including anti-social behaviour and enforcement
  • Excellent understanding of the principles of sustainable tenancies including the effects of Adverse childhood experiences
  • Team management experience, preferably with large teams of remote workers
  • Knowledge of Letting properties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to develop and implement effective strategies
  • A commitment to fostering positive community relationships
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
