Description
- Be responsible for the delivery of outstanding housing management services including the management of tenancies, allocations and community safety
- Proactively monitor and report on performance
- Guide, manage and inspire the team
- Lead the delivery of a proactive and customer-focused service
- Lead safeguarding across the business
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise neighbourhood services
- Maintain positive relationships with the community and stakeholders
- Oversee the management of resources and budget
- Ensure the team meets key performance indicators
- Act as a point of contact for any issues or concerns
- Foster a supportive and inclusive team environment
- Stay informed on industry developments and implement best practice
Profile
A successful Neighbourhood Services Manager should have:
- Excellent level of housing law and practice knowledge including anti-social behaviour and enforcement
- Excellent understanding of the principles of sustainable tenancies including the effects of Adverse childhood experiences
- Team management experience, preferably with large teams of remote workers
- Knowledge of Letting properties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to develop and implement effective strategies
- A commitment to fostering positive community relationships
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
