Job Title: Mechanical Fitter (Training and Upskilling Provided)
Job Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Shifts: Mon-Fri 8am 4.30pm (With Flexibility to work shifts)
Hourly Rate: £16.06 PAYE / £19.47 Umbrella (Training rate for first approx. 6 weeks)
£18.25 PAYE / £23.14 Umbrella (Post training)
Hours Per Week:37
Duration: Ongoing
Start Date: August 2024
Industries/Backgrounds Considered: Rolling Stock, Automotive, Marine, Plant, Aviation, Military, HGV Technicians, Assembly, Engineering, Car Garage, Fitter, Rail

long term contracts for their major client Alstom to carry out the Mechanical.
Overhaul of Rail Bogies at their Crewe Depot.

You do not need to have a Rail Industry background as other Practical Trade
Backgrounds will be considered and Paid Training will be provided.

Position Summary:
Completing Mechanical Overhaul of Rail Bogies. Candidates will be required to carry out the following duties:
* Bogie overhaul, damage repair and engineering
* Wheel set overhaul, repair and analysis
* Bogie and gearbox engineering / repair
* Wheel exchange on wheel sets
* Components and sub-assemblies overhaul repair and analysis
* Heavy mechanical fitting to safety critical standards
