Internal Sales - Road Freight

Location: Bradford

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (DOE)

My client is looking for a results driven, experienced Internal Sales or Freight Account Manager to join their team in their Bradford Office. The right candidate will be an experienced sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder, having a background in Road Freight sales.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent customer service.
• To generate and follow up sales leads, liaising with new and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
• Bring on Road Freight business and liaise with the operations team.
• Be up-to-date on current developments in the market and information on competitors.

Requirements:

• Freight Forwarding Sales/Account Management Experience.
• Import and/or Export Road Freight experience.
• Experience working for a UK based freight forwarding company.
• Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
