Fawkes and Reece are currently assisting a national main contractor in their search for a Design Manager
About the role of Design Manager
Fawkes and Reece are currently assisting a national main contractor in their search for a Design manager. The role is for a Design manager, who can comfortably commute into Mayfair to assist the construction of residential fit-outs. You will be required on site or office 5 days per week. This will start as a temporary basis and may continue to a permanent contract.
Responsibilities for Design Manager
Ensure design compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Uphold company policies and procedures
Cross team collaboration with Design, Quantity Surveyors, Construction Manager, M&E team, and wider site construction team
Working with internal and external stakeholders, provide support for selection of design subcontractors, Review design drawings, and lead document design meetings
Work with the manufacturing and site teams to ensure practical and robust design details in agreement with the construction team.
Requirements for Design Manager
Experience working in a similar role
Experience with Fit-Out
Experience with site procedures
Experience using design software such as Revit
This main contractor work across the world on projects ranging from Data centres and residential to sports, leisure and healthcare.
What we offer for Design Manager
