Remarkable Jobs, recruiting on behalf of a leading film and lighting hire company, is seeking a full-time, permanent Equipment / Logistics Control Manager to join their team in Brimsdown, Enfield. This onsite role requires a 6am start time and involves managing the daily operations of equipment logistics, including vehicle dispatch, job returns, and equipment checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing vehicle departures and equipment returns
- Planning daily operations, counting, testing, and checking returned equipment
- Reporting missing, damaged equipment, and cons usage
- Managing and training the logistics and equipment control team
- Ensuring dispatch accuracy and health & safety compliance
Requirements:
- Experience managing people in an operations/logistics department
- Strong IT skills
- Experience in the film or production industry
- Knowledge of AV or lighting equipment is advantageous
- Valid driving licence
- Flexibility for a weekend rota (1 in 4)
Hours:
- Core hours: 6am - 2pm/3pm (flexibility with lunch breaks)
- Occasional weekends on a rota basis
