Aztrum is delighted to be representing a leading design consultancy, specializing in delivering cutting-edge solutions across a range of sectors including Residential, Conservation, Education and Commercial.
The successful candidate will work closely with Landscape Architects and Arboricultural consultants to assist with the AutoCAD drafting, and some InDesign report graphics.
Key Responsibilities for this Architectural Technician role:
- Produce high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to develop and refine designs.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of planning applications, construction details, and technical documentation.
Key Requirements for this Architectural Technician role:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician in a design, engineering, or construction environment.
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of design and drafting principles, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and documentation to high standards.
- Good knowledge of building regulations, planning processes, and construction methods (if applicable to your sector).
