Position: Experienced Planner - Strategic Development and Development Management

My client is seeking a talented professional to join an established planning team in Wolston, near Rugby. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, promoting land through Local and Neighbourhood Plans, and managing general planning work.

The Opportunity:

My client are looking for an excellent individual to join our multidisciplinary team, advising a wide variety of landowning clients on the promotion of sites through Local and Neighbourhood Plans and the submission of planning applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on the promotion of land in the Midlands and beyond, including the submission of representations at all stages of Plan preparation, from call for sites to Examination.
• Conduct planning appraisals and engage in pre-application consultations.
• Appoint and manage consultant teams.
• Prepare and submit planning applications for various developments, from large-scale residential and commercial schemes to smaller rural projects.
• Advise on and submit appeals of all types.
• Handle prior approval applications.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Background in private or public sector planning or planning-focused surveying.
• RTPI accreditation is welcomed but not essential; support will be provided to achieve this if desired.
• Strong ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and manage diverse projects.
