HGV Class II refuse collection drivers in Cheltenham and Gloucester

Our client, a company working for the council, is looking for several drivers for ongoing Monday to Friday work. Starting around 0630 am (might vary slightly on the day) and finishing around 3 p.m. with 30 minutes unpaid break per day.
Work will involve various departments, e.g. refuse collection, recycling, deliveries of bins, garden waste, etc. Work is usually 37 hrs a week, sometimes overtime offered if busy.
Our ideal driver:
- Will have some driving experience for cat. C (at least 1 year ideally)
- Will have a good understanding of Tacho laws and driving regulations
- Will have no more than 6 points on full UK licence
- Will be happy with occasional manual handling if necessary
Standard pay is £15.90 per hour, overtime and Bank Holiday £23.25. Following a successful assessment and induction full time work will be offered to the right candidate - which might lead to contract for the right person.
Vacancies are available both in Cheltenham and in Gloucester.
