Position: Store Person

Type of work:  permanent

Salary: £27590 per annum

Location: Bristol

Hours of work: 37 Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 16:30 and an early finish on Friday

We are looking to recruit a Store person that would support the stores area of the business in Bristol. The appropriate store person will support the business to ensure that both Company stores and despatch areas function efficiently and effectively; the aim being 100% On Time Delivery and stock accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Accept deliveries into the company and complete the required booking transactions in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
• Maintain stock location movements.
• Raw material picking, allocation & supply alongside internal kit picking, from prioritised Job Order listings, in support of the production areas.
• Operating to specified pick lists and packing of goods for dispatch as required for retail and export trade.
• Perform prescribed stock checks, reconciliation and reporting actions in line with the company requirements.
• Undertake the ordering and maintenance of consumable stock.
• Support the bi-annual stock-takes as required.
• To cover our full-time driver in his absence travelling from Fishponds to Bath when required

Knowledge & Ability Required

• Ability to work overtime (with reasonable notice) and to perform effectively under pressure during challenging periods.
• Demonstrable experience in a stores environment associated with engineering products, preferably with good working knowledge of MRPs systems.
• Computer literate.
• Good communicator at all levels.
• Clean driving License
• Forklift experience/license ideally Counter, Reach or Bendy.
• You will hold a 7.5-ton licence
• The ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.
