Job Description

The Health, Safety, and Quality (HSQ) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing organizational health, safety, and quality management programs. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, fosters a safe working environment, and promotes continual improvement in quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior colleagues to ensure the business complies with industry quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Responsible for the management of the Health, Safety & Quality systems across the manufacturing site, whilst promoting group level processes & procedures
  • Working closely with other leadership departmental managers to drive & lead HSQ strategies
  • Driving the safety improvement plans for site, covering legal compliance, new H&S policies, environmental impact, staff engagement, training and best practice
  • Risk assessments, H&S audits, machine safety procedure creation through COSHH, working with third party
  • Prepare specialised documentation and liaise with external organisations and authorities on all relative matters
  • Manage and enhance quality management systems, ensuring products meet customer requirements and legal standards
  • Ensuring we are compliant with ISO9001

Key Requirements

To be successful in your application you will need to:

  • Be NEBOSH qualified or have equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a similar Health, Safety and Quality Manager role
  • Previous experience of Risk Assessments including COSHH
  • Experience leading site procedural and operational audits
  • Previous experience developing and implementing programs, policies, and procedures
