Prosper Recruitment are working in partnership with a young business that is rapidly expanding in the renewable energy sector, our client is dedicated to providing sustainable and innovative solutions and specialise in Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, and EV Chargers, offering cutting-edge technology and service for both residential and commercial markets. Due to successes in their first year in business they are now looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Lead Generation Manager/Business Development Manager to drive further growth in the renewables market.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of renewable energy technologies, particularly Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, and EV Chargers. This role will focus on generating high-quality leads by building strong relationships with homeowners in the able-to-pay market, as well as reaching out to businesses, local authorities, housing associations, energy suppliers, and construction companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic lead generation strategies and campaigns to identify potential customers within the renewables market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, focusing on those in the able-to-pay market to generate interest in our renewable energy solutions.
  • Conduct outreach to businesses, energy suppliers, local authorities and construction companies to identify partnership opportunities and drive lead generation.
  • Utilise various methods for lead generation, including cold calling, email marketing, networking events, and social media outreach.
  • Work closely with the Directors to align lead generation strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Research and analyse market trends to identify new opportunities and emerging markets for renewable energy products.

What's required:

  • Proven experience in lead generation within the renewable energy sector.
  • Solid understanding of Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, and EV Chargers.
  • Sound experience of effective lead generation activity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people, including home owners, managers and Directors within businesses of various sizes in the following sectors: energy, construction, local authorities, housing associations
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on achieving and exceeding lead generation targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and lead generation tools; familiarity with digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Full Driving Licence
