Our client is seeking an ambitious Information Assurance Manager to deliver critical security and data protection services. Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of information security and assurance.
• Implement and maintain security management processes in line with ISO 27001.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring continuous improvement in security practices.
• Work with public sector security standards, including Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS DSPT, and PCI DSS.
• Perform risk management activities, internal audits, and supplier due diligence.
• Assist with secure design and change management processes.
• Lead and support security incident response efforts for clients.
• Collaborate with project teams to address security and compliance challenges.
• Oversee vulnerability management initiatives for client teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience in information security management, including governance, risk, and compliance.
• Expertise in security risk management and technical security controls.
• Familiarity with incident response and data protection compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel monthly to the Guernsey office.

Desirable Skills

• Experience within the UK public sector, including government or healthcare.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, and AlienVault.
• Relevant certifications like CISM, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Experience in conducting information security audits.
