We are looking for a new machine operator who can operate a Shearing Machine within a busy scrapyard within the Marsh Marton area of Exeter.
This is a busy, all weathers, mucky, hands-on role where you use the shearing machine to break up scrap metal as part of a recycling process.
Due to the nature of this environment, you will be expected to also perform typical yard-based duties including some manual handling.
This is a full-time role working within a massive, worldwide company and you will receive training on different machinery along with a nice career ladder to climb.
To be considered - you need to have worked on some kind of production machinery before, ideally with the recycling sector and be both reliable and physically fit.
This role offers you:
- £12.82 p/hour + OT paid at x1.5.
- 40 hours paid per week.
