Major IT & Digital are delighted to be working with a leading fintech businesses in the Leeds / Bradford area.

You will be working for a well-established business with over 10 years industry experience, achieving a UK turnover in excess of £25m with continued growth and expansion plans in both the UK and Internationally.

The role

You will be working within an in-house software development team and responsible for developing and executing automated tests using C#, to ensure quality and reliability of my clients software products.

You will be working within a small testing team to deliver a quality product roadmap whilst applying automated testing methods across the business.

You will be working with a fully upgraded cloud and API integration platform and ensure that product quality expectations are met reducing risks during the deployment phase and improve User Experience.

The person

At least 2 years’ experience working within software automation testing, a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and ISTQB foundation certified

You will be experienced in creating test cases and suites in Azure DevOps before automating them using C# and Selenium and ability to write/run unit tests using NUnit frameworks

Investigation of and debugging test failures by identifying and creating bugs

A good knowledge of web technologies, HTTP protocols and API payloads

A good understanding of load and performance testing

A solid awareness of SDLC and Agile working environments
