We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for a full-time, ongoing role in the Tyseley area. Working hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week).

Role Purpose:

• To ensure stock is received, stored, picked and packed and distributed efficiently and accurately in order to meet customer order fulfilment within the specified order despatch and delivery time schedule.

Role Duties:

• To check all stock received against purchase orders.
• To put stock away in correct locations with due regard to Health & Safety requirements.
• To accept parcels/deliveries and ensure they are distributed quickly and accurately.
• To segregate return products into re-stockable, used sale item and disposal categories as appropriate and process them according to procedure.
• To identify and correctly label all stock received. In a timely manner and as and when appropriate, to transfer stock from large stock area to picking area.
• To pick, pack and check stock accurately by whatever means as designated by line manager and with due regards to specified timeframes.

Candidate Specification

• Previous experience order picking and packing in a Warehousing environment.
• Able to work well on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
