Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Teaching Assistant to start at a primary school in Barnsley starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the classroom teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support as required.
• Help implement individual learning plans for students.
• Offer emotional and behavioural support to encourage students' progress.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure each student's needs are met.

About You:

• Patient, kind, and approachable with a genuine passion for working with young people.
• Able to build trusting relationships with students who have varied needs.
• No formal TA qualification required, but relevant experience is essential.
