Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? We are working a longide a leading Civil Engineering company to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in the Bristol area working on Civils Projects across the South West.

Duties

• Managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.
• Ensuring projects are completed within the projected budget.
• Providing financial and commercial advice to the project team.
• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.

Person Specification

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civil Engineering sector
• Knowledge of NEC contracts
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential
