Our longstanding Client is looking for a Small Works Contact Manager to work within their Offices in the North Herts area close to M11 and M25 links. They successfully deliver projects across the southeast with over 30 years of experience working within numerous sectors such as schools, airports and the NHS plus private sector projects. We have been asked to find them a competent Small Works Contract Manager who is looking for a new challenge.
 
This role will involve communicating with Clients regarding new projects, helping with the pricing of works and overseeing projects to completion.  It is a multi-tasking role where you will have to multi-task making sure Clients are happy and the projects are on time and in budget.

Small Works Contract Manager Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • · 3 years + experience within the construction industry
  • · Experience within Facilities Management
  • · Basic knowledge of building services – electrics, air con systems, drainage, water services
  • · Ability to act quickly and be reactive to new projects coming in.
  • · Good management skills, with the ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance
  • · Good operational planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
  • · Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • · Good working knowledge of computer systems particularly Microsoft & Excel
  • · A team player
  • · Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • · Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • · Excellent organizational skills
  • · Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to priorities tasks
  • · Professional attitude and appearance
  • Drivers Licence – Maximum of 3 penalty points
Due to working within restricted areas this job requires a 5-year, checkable work history.
