Grid Connection Manager
Able to be located across the UK
Global operator in renewable energy, working full project lifecycle in development, construction and operations.
Up to £80,000 DOE + benefits
A global player is looking for their new Grid Connection manager to join the development team, working across the full projects lifecycle from a technical and grid perspective. You'd have the opportunity to take a leading position across all grid related works for solar and BESS projects as well as collocated sites.
The group has been operating for the last 17 years, progressing to cover the full project lifecycle in this time. They now operate over 16 countries, with their core operations being across the UK, Spain, Italy and Poland. Across all of these countries, they now have a healthy pipeline of over 1.8GW. They also have over 170 employees across all of these locations.
They have reached this level of success through joint ventures with leading players in the space as well as receiving good investments over the years. They now have stable investment from their partners in the space, and are supporting their growth significantly.

The role:
Your role will work across this lifecycle but take a major focus on the pre-construction stages. You'll be working closely with the Head of Development to manage and oversee the grid portfolio.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the grid portfolio, ensuring projects are hitting milestones and compliant.
- You'll be responsible for managing application processes for new projects, working on G99s.
- Working closely with grid consultants to analyse connection agreements and to assess project viability.
- Liaising with DNOS and TOs for connection agreements, ensuring the best offers are achieved.
- Wider stakeholder management skills to work with engineering and development teams as well as external parties.
