Project Sales Engineer - London

Fantastic Opportunity to join leading Exterior lighting Manufacturer specialist due to continued successful growth of the client to proactively sell their exterior lighting and all its associated products and services through planning, managing and developing a profiled business/territory portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure that set monthly and yearly targets are achieved.
• Proactively maintain and generate new business and enquiries through existing and new customers.
• Ensuring all designs are carried out through either the design office, ensuring customer service levels are maintained
• Effective and self-sufficient time / diary management
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients
• Key Account Manage clients and prospective clients in your allocated area- arranging quotes, holding margin, oversee order entry and project management
• Work with your line manager to create and implement sales strategies  
• Respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and professional manor
• Ensure that your project bank is kept up to date
• Be able to forward forecast for your area to help with the buying / product forecasting
• Proactively book and attend regular meetings with existing and new client base to include company and CPD presentations.
• To influence, maintain and raise the brand perception of the business within your area

Skills / Knowledge / Experience :

• Good lighting knowledge & specification sales process/construction industry
• Good Teamplayer
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with contacts at all levels
• Good organisational skills
• A proven track record in sales and have previous success in achieving sales targets and KPI’s, experience in the lighting & construction industry would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work on own initiative
• To be highly motivated to achieve and exceed targets
• Clear ability to influence a sale by selling the features and benefits
• Be able to manage their customer base and geographical area
• To present a professional and positive image of both the organisation and yourself
• UK Driving Licence

Salary / Package

£60,000 to £65,000 plus Generous Bonus Scheme, Company Car or Car Allowance, Share Scheme plus package
