Location: Darlington (Durham)
Salary: Up to £37k + Bonus (£43k OTE)
 
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] to join our clients' modern bodyshop, based in Darlington (Durham). You will need a positive can-do attitude and be hard working, efficient and have great housekeeping. In return our client offers a world class working environment, with a fully equipped Bodyshop for undertaking the job in hand, as well as personal development and training.   
 
The position of Vehicle Damage Assessor [VDA] requires the individual to assess / estimate accident damage using the required knowledge and methods to ascertain the safest repair method. An ATA is desirable but not essential, as is knowledge of Audatex, Autoflow etc. You will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role and live in or around Darlington (Durham).

Duties will include:
  • Create accurate, right first time repair assessments
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of estimating systems
  • Develop and or maintain an excellent knowledge and understanding of all insurer/customer contracts
  • Maintain effective communication skills with both internal and external customers
