Role: Fleet Manager

Salary: Up to £30,000

Location: Barlborough, Chesterfield

This is an exciting opportunity to join a super impressive and highly prestigious business in the ground transport industry as they look for a Fleet Manager to join the team.

This is a rare and unique opportunity where the successful candidate will support massive players in the entertainment industries through their ground transport needs.

In this role, you must have previous experience in looking after the full booking process from providing quotes to invoicing.

You will join a hard-working and dedicated team of 3 where it’s essential to take on additional duties to support the team.

Due to the nature of the business, this role is not a typical 9-5 as there are extremely busy periods where you will be required to work outside of normal working hours. However, it’s a very rewarding role where you will be recognised for your hard-work and enjoy endless perks!

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Provide transport quotes on request
• Book transport vehicles based on customer needs
• Manage the day-to-day scheduling of vehicles
• Mange invoicing process
• Chasing payments   
• Building relationships with key clients and drivers
• Data input using bespoke scheduling systems and Excel
• General administrative duties including checking vehicle MOT / Service

Person specification:

• Diary management is essential
• Experience in producing quotes is essential
• Flexibility in working hours during busy periods
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask in high pressure situations
• Able to use different computer systems (Excel experience is ideal)
• Confident in their approach and able to be assertive in certain situations
• Knowledge of geography around Europe and ability to work across multiple time zones is desirable
