Vehicle Mechanic

With over 20 years of industry experience, their team is dedicated to providing top-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance. You'll be working alongside qualified and experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diagnostic equipment and be proficient in operating various vehicle repair tools. Additional skills such as electrical, welding, coding, or engine rebuild would be a valuable asset but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Vehicle Repairs: Perform general vehicle repairs, including brake and suspension replacements.
• Vehicle Servicing: Conduct industry-standard vehicle servicing to maintain optimal performance.
• Diagnostics: Diagnose vehicle issues, identify faults, and write detailed reports outlining findings and recommended repairs.
• Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
• Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs or the results of investigations, as needed.
   

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of diagnostic computer equipment for effective vehicle troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in operating all necessary vehicle repair tools and equipment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
