Logistics Consultant - outside IR35

A leading company known for delivering innovative solutions across multiple sectors are seeking a Logistics Consultant on an initial 6 month contract (outside IR35), to conduct an audit and review of compliance-related processes. This role involves close collaboration with logistics teams across multiple sites. Acting as the main point of contact/authority for all logistics and compliance across the sites, ensuring the teams have a coherent and common plan. 

You will be a highly experienced Logistics expert, with prior experience leading audits and compliance reviews, and ideally be a member of a professional body, for example, Institute of Transport Administration, Charted Institute of Logistics and Transport, Society of Operations Engineers, Institute of Road Transport Engineers etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and review compliance processes.
• Collaborate with logistics teams across multiple sites.
• Act as the overall authority for logistics compliance
• Recommend operational improvements.

Contract Length: 6 months
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Rate: negotiable 
Location: either Reading or South Wales would be ideal, but the role is likely to be predominantly remote with travel to various sites throughout the UK when required
