TeacherActive are proud to be working with a nurturing Welsh ethos nursery located in Newport. The nursery love to promote different cultures and languages, but in particularly, the Welsh language through their activities, supportive staff and by using local Welsh businesses and partners. They believe that play is the best way for children to learn as their play resources gives children plenty of opportunities to explore their own interests and gain a sense of independence.

The nursery is looking to take on a Welsh Nursery Assistant or an English speaking Nursery Assistant who is willing to learn to speak Welsh to join their fantastic team. The successful candidate will be working with pupils on a one to one basis and is required to have a minimum Level 2 CACHE/CCLD/Childcare qualification. This role would be a great opportunity to enhance your experience working with younger children and expand your skills in the classroom.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Minimum Level 2 CACHE/CCLD/Childcare
• A caring, positive approach to working with young children
• Ability to get stuck in with the children creating a fun learning environment for all
• Excellent communication skills
