A leading builders and plumbers merchant in Stoke on Trent is seeking a full-time Field Sales Representative to generate new leads and manage existing customer accounts.
  
The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package with uncapped commission starting at £30,000 and a company car scheme.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and self-driven individual to join a rapidly expanding company and would suit someone who has previous sales or consultative sales experience in building and trades sectors.
  
As the Field Sales Representative your responsibilities will include:
  

• Prospecting new B2B customers nationally through cold-calling and door canvassing activities.
• Generating new leads and following up on existing leads.
• Understanding customer requirements before proposing solutions and upselling value added products and services.
• Providing quotes and overseeing the project from initial consultation through to delivery.
• Maintaining and updating the internal CRM.

The Field Sales Representative will have the following skills and attributes:
  

• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Able to deliver against realistic achievement and KPI targets.
• Knowledge of building and trades industry is highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

  
You will be working from the Stoke office between 7.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and alternating Saturday mornings.
  
Appointment will be subject to right to work checks and satisfactory references.
