Senior Process Operator, Clean Room
Location; Knutsford
Type: Fixed term contract
Duration: x3 months (likely to be extended)
Salary: Upto £35,000 PA depending on experience
Additional: 25 days holiday (pro rata) + BH, company pension
Job Overview
Russell Taylor is working exclusively with a Biotech firm who are expanding their facility and introducing new Clean Room lines. We need an experienced head for this role.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production lines.
There are grade C,D areas.
Duties
• Working within a Grade C,D Clean Room adhering to cGMP standards
• Environmental monitoring
• To always work safely, to wear personal protective equipment as directed and to clean/maintain the PPE.
• Ensuring the batch manufacturing records are updated
• Monitor and control production processes to ensure optimal efficiency
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production
• Creating and updating SOPs
• Oversee the setup and operation of machinery and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards
• Train and mentor junior operators
The Person
• Will have significant experience working in an cGMP facility with clean room experience (working as an Process Operative or Snr Process Operative)
• Experience in SOP write up and conforming to GMP QMS
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills needed for training and for liaising with stakeholders
