I am recruiting on behalf of an outstanding secondary school in Surbiton for a full time experienced Qualified Biology Teacher. The school is renowned for its academic excellence, inclusive learning environment, and supportive community.

The successful candidate will:
  • Deliver engaging biology lessons to KS3 and KS4, using differentiation to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Prepare students for GCSE Biology exams, providing guidance to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess and report on student progress in line with school policies and Ofsted standards.
  • Participate in science curriculum development and share best teaching practices.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful classroom environment and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in Biology or related field and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching biology at the secondary school level, ideally within the UK education system.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, GCSE, and A-Level Biology.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
