Multi Skilled Operative

Permanent position. Van and fuel card provided

Area: Cornwall and into Devon

The Company:

Build Recruitment are working with a facilities maintenance specialist to recruit a multi trade operative to cover Cornwall and into Devon.

This role is offered as a permanent position. A company van and fuel card are provided.

This role would suit a multi skilled trades person with good plumbing skills, good carpentry skills, UPVC door and window repair experience, and other basic skills such as painting, patch plastering and wall and floor tiling.

You will be working across a commercial contract providing property repairs and maintenance. You will also need take on some on-call emergency call outs. This is one week in five (once the probation period is passed).

You will mainly cover Cornwall, but must be willing to travel to Devon when required.

Main responsibilities:

Undertaking all aspects of carpentry, plumbing, small plastering jobs, tiling and painting as required, assisting with making good and repairs across a commercial contract.

You will be familiar with routine preventative maintenance and reactive works and be able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines. 

Providing excellent customer service.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

• Full driving licence 
• Good level of plumbing experience
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team
