Superconductivity Technician 
Contract: Full-Time
Salary £28,000 to 30,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: Immediate

Job Purpose:

Our client, a world-leading manufacturing company specializing in the applications of superconductivity, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented technician to work on the preparation of superconducting magnets. These magnets are crucial components in systems such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare superconducting magnets for use in NMR and MRI applications.

• operate coil winding machine

• Follow detailed instructions and specifications to ensure high-quality magnet preparation.

• Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure all magnets meet company standards.

• Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.

• Participate in comprehensive training programs to learn the necessary skills and techniques for magnet preparation.

• Continuously develop skills and knowledge related to superconducting magnet technology.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to focus on intricate tasks and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Capacity to work meticulously over extended periods.
• Basic understanding of technical concepts; prior experience is not required as full training will be provided.
•  Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
