If so we have an amazing opportunity to work as an Electrical Installations lecturer – and the best thing is the government are currently offering a £6000 incentive for the next two years for electricians to move into teaching!
  
What is in it for you?

• £38,000 - £42,777 (depending on experience) + £6000 from the government for the first 2 years for joining education for the first time (making it a total if £12,000 on top of your salary!!!)
• Excellent holiday allowance – 49 days per annum
• Enrolment to teachers pensions with a HUGE employer contribution of 28.68% of your annual salary
• The college will pay for and support you with undertaking a teaching qualification

  
About the Role:

You will be working in state of the art facilities, with leading local construction firms to help train up the next generation of Electricians through their apprenticeships.
  

• Delivering practical and theory lessons to level 1-3 electrical apprentices
• Developing learning resources, managing classroom behaviour etc.

  
Who are we looking for?
  

• Hold a NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations
• Have a 18th Edition
• Preferably have a teaching qualification (e.g., PTTLS) or willing to work towards it within the first year of employment
• English and Maths GCSE (level 4/C or above)
