INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE

SOUTH YORKSHIRE

£26K - £28K (Dependant On Experience) + 4 Weeks Holiday + Pension + Laptop + Mobile

Hours of Work: 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday / 8am-3:30pm Friday

Our client is a leading supplier of industrial packaging to blue chip companies in a range of UK markets including agriculture, building and construction, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, waste and recycling.

They are currently looking to recruit Internal Sales Executive who will progress as Business Development Manager in the future. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, ambitious, have eye on detail and good commercial acumen.

The role will suit those with sales, admin flair and a desire to work their way up to the top through hard work, longevity and professional commitment.

Initial management support and training will be provided, experience in the packaging industry is not essential.

Job-Responsibilities:

  • Managing and growing sales with existing customers / Key accounts.
  • Taking Order by phone /emails - processing Sales Orders and arranging dispatch with coordination with warehouse team
  • Raising Replenishment Purchase Orders to suppliers to maintain required products on the Shelf.
  • Good knowledge of Sage.
  • Willingness to learn product and market.
  • Resolve customer disputes/ issues regarding quality expectations product shortages, damages, any urgent and late delivery issues.
  • Ability to generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email and visit them as & when needed for business development and other business matters.
  • Prepare & submit sales reports as desired by management of the company!
  • Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes.
  • Providing daily reports of field sales success and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors.
  • Show has good sales-management skills to work-in B2B environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have B2B Product-Sales knowledge and experience of handling / managing key accounts.
  • Willingness to travel at-least 1 days per week to visit customers for sales development, attending sample trials ,seeing product in function etc.
  • A confident communicator with can do attitude, with a polite but firm telephone manner and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and service provider.
  • A commercial, common-sense approach.
  • Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Recognise the importance of attention to detail, yet awareness for the bigger picture.
  • Must have a Driving Licence.
