Are you an experienced wireman looking for a new position? We are currently looking for you!
An exciting electronics manufacturer are looking for a skilled wireman to join the team in Poynton.
For this role you will need:
- The ability to understand, interpret and work in accordance with Engineering drawings, wiring schedules, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and bespoke customer supplied assembly information.
- A minimum of 3 yrs experience in cabinet/rack/box wiring.
- IPC J-STD Certified would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A good level of dexterity.
- A hardworking approach.
- A good level of housekeeping in the workplace.
The role will involve:
- Complex cabinet/rack/box wiring using 22awg - 10awg cable/wire across Power, Data and RF functionalities.
- Use of various types of hand held crimp tools.
- Creation, routing and securing of multi-cable/wire harnesses and looms.
- The termination of various connector types such as - Multi-pin, 68999, RF, data, power and single wires, crimped and soldered.
- Development of first off units and cabling.
