Mobile Water Treatment Engineer

Location- Midlands – Birmingham/Tamworth, with occasional travel to Wales and Manchester
Salary- £35,000 + Van + Fuel Card
Hours of work- 40 hours Monday to Friday role, no call-out
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Water Treatment Engineer to join our team. You will primarily operate across the Midlands, with occasional travel to Wales and Manchester, working on commercial properties such as offices, hotels (including a recently won hotel contract), and retail outlets. This is a Monday to Friday role with no call-out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Water System Maintenance: Perform regular testing, treatment, and maintenance of water systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Legionella Control: Carry out Legionella risk assessments and implement control measures (L8).
• Water Sampling & Testing: Take water samples to check for contamination and maintain system health.
• System Cleaning & Repairs: Clean and maintain water tanks, pipes, and other system components, repairing issues as needed.
• Chemical Dosing: Monitor and adjust chemical levels (e.g., chlorine dosing) to maintain water quality.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Water Treatment Knowledge: Experience in water treatment maintenance, testing, and cleaning.
• Legionella Control: Certification in Legionella control (L8) or relevant training.
• Plumbing/Mechanical Skills: A background in plumbing or mechanical engineering is advantageous but not essential.
• Driving: A full, valid UK driving license is required as the role involves extensive travel.

Bonus Skills (Not Essential but Beneficial):

• Experience with plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of water softeners and CLO2 (Chlorine Dioxide) systems.
