Deputy Manager
Location: Duston, Northampton
Salary: £29,120 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join a dynamic care service in the Duston, Northampton area. In this key leadership position, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operational management of the care service, supporting a team of dedicated care professionals, and ensuring that the individuals we support receive the highest standard of care. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day management of care services, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of care staff, ensuring they deliver compassionate, person-centred care to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular team meetings, supervisions, and appraisals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Monitor and review client care plans to ensure their needs are met and their personal goals are supported.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external professionals, promoting collaborative care.
- Manage documentation, including care records, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance.
- Be available to provide on-call support as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a care setting.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and best practices within domiciliary care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A person-centred approach to care and a passion for improving the lives of those we support.
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential childcare is essential; Level 5 is desirable.
- A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach to challenges.
