I am recruiting on behalf of my client who are known for manufacturing luxury-handcrafted motorcycles. They are looking for Lead Chassis Engineer to join their expanding team on a Permanent basis.
As a Lead Chassis Engineer your main responsibilities are:
- The role of the Senior will be to support the design and development of a number of significant components and systems related to chassis systems and components on a range of new the Clients' Motorbikes
- Responsibility for supporting reviewing and approving concept and production-level design, both internally and externally.
Qualifications / Skills Required:
- 5+ years automotive design engineering background (Ideally motorcycle)
- Leading the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.
- An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics.
- Successfully communicating and working with key internal departments and external service providers and suppliers to ensure quality design and feasibility.
- CREO experience is preferred but not essential
- Ensuring application of relevant industry standards and benchmark learning.
- Develop commodity delivery plans, and drive delivery to plan.
- Approving concept and detail CAD designs and drawings.
