Due to growth, we have an opportunity available for an Event Delegate Sales Executive based in Chelmsford, which is a perfect opportunity for graduates.

This offers a guaranteed basic salary of £24’000, plus a realistic £12’000 commission in your first year, which is uncapped.

As the Event Delegate Sales Executive, your benefits include...

• The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm.
• International travel, you will attend around four fully paid-for global events a year, each for around 2-4 days.

As the Event Delegate Sales Executive, you will be working for a successful company that organises global events alongside the Army and Navy. Your role will be varied and will include researching companies and contacts, fact-finding, networking, and having discussions with companies daily. You will be selling the benefits to businesses of networking and attending their events, where they can promote their products, services or technologies to the Army or Navy. You will be cold calling companies to start the ball rolling and using a sales plan to develop relationships, to secure and retain their business long term. You will also build relationships further and network face-to-face when you attend their global events. You will receive full training and support in a great work environment, the team has many graduates and ex-military personnel. To be considered for the Event Delegate Sales Executive you will need...

• A valid passport to travel.
• To live within a reasonable distance of Chelmsford.
• To have an extremely clear and professional telephone manner.
• Confidence to speak to senior ranking personnel within the Armed Forces.
• To be a graduate with a passion for getting into global event sales.
• Ex-military with no sales experience, with a passion for getting into event sales will also be considered.
• If you are not a graduate or ex-military, they will consider recent office-based telephone sales experience.
• To be driven, motivated, enthusiastic, and confident to work to sales targets.
• Passion to work alongside the Armed Forces.
• If you have any exposure to the Armed Forces such as the Army, Navy, Royal Air Force or Cadets (either yourself, your friends, or your family) it would be highly beneficial, but this is not essential.
