CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with an exceptional Southampton based, high growth technology business to recruit the newly created position of Head of Finance & Accounting. Reporting into and working closely with the Finance Director, this position has been created to develop the organisation's financial reporting and investment modelling as they continue on their growth journey, which includes M&A activity. 

What will the role involve?

• Growing the finance team with oversight and management of all transactional finance, accounting, reporting and planning;
• External financial reporting for the group and subsidiaries, including liaising with local accounting teams across the group to prepare the annual consolidation and financial statements;
• Creation of a reporting system for cash flow management, involving gathering data from international operations for internal reporting;
• Assessment of investment proposals by project;
• Commercial and strategic support to the Finance Director.

Suitable Candidate:

• Big 4 or Top 10 trained and ACA or ACCA qualified is preferable but CIMA qualification will also be considered;
• Technically strong accountant who possesses a commercial outlook and is highly skilled in Excel modelling;
• Hands on and flexible approach with the ability to prioritise and manage on ad hoc projects;
