An Area Sales Manager role promoting an industry leading range of lintels and structural building materials across the Thames Valley and South Central area. Tracking and winning projects with regional house builders, local developers and contractors, whilst account managing and developing the relationship with an established network of builder's merchants.

Package: Basic salary dependent on experience, with a £5k bonus scheme (paid quarterly), hybrid company car, 25 days holiday, 5% employer pension contributions, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, staff rewards and discounts, employee assistance program, life assurance and a health cash plan
Territory: South Central and the WD, EN, AL, LU, HP, OX, SN, RG, SL & TW postcodes
Selling: Lintels, masonry support and structural building materials 
Customers: National and independent builders merchants, buying groups, regional house builders, local developers and contractors

THE ROLE – Area Sales Manager:

  • A field based territory sales role promoting my clients industry leading range of lintels and masonry support products
  • Inheriting an established and well performing area, you will be tracking and winning projects with regional house builders, local developers and contractors
  • Whilst account managing and developing the relationship with an established network of builders merchants, that all projects are back-sold through
  • You will be supported by a first class technical team, that will assist you with drawings, plans, admin and lead generation

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT - Area Sales Manager:

  • You will be a field sales professional with a consultative and structured approach 
  • You are likely to be already working within the construction industry, but my client is open to recruit from heavy-side building materials, KBB, interiors, plumbing, heating...
  • Your experience could have been gained from manufacturing, merchant or distributor
  • Either way you will be equally as comfortable developing existing relationships, as you are prospecting and winning new business
