As the Scrum Master you will be responsible for agile best practices in our Development Teams that are using the Scrum Framework.You will train, coach mentor team mebersin your specialisty area and pass on knowledge in an organised way.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups; refining; retrospectives), keeping all parties (team, business stakeholders, wider IT team) on track and informed
  • Coaching of team members in agile best practices
  • Removing roadblocks for the team
  • Assuring that the backlog is prepared and ready for refinement and planning
  • Ensuring that all the work in the backlog is estimated by the team
  • Tracking alignment to budget and completion of Timesheet by team members
  • Reporting at Sprint level and team health check reporting
  • Escalating to Capability leads any technical or Quality issues with individual team members
Skills and Experience
  • Qualification in Agile frameworks including Scrum and SAFe with relevant Certifications, such as CSM, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master/ Release Train Engineer being an advantage
  • Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master or in related agile roles such as Product Owner, Release Train Engineer
  • Leadership skills and can influence decision making within a technical Team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in relevant agile tooling including Jira and Confluence
  • Systems thinker, experienced in improving ways of working and introducing new agile practices into a team
  • A passion for agile with the ability to motivate and inspire teams

 

A degree qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline would also be desirable.
