Our client is a national facilities management company that offers tailored services to different companies across the UK.
They are committed to providing top-notch customer service and are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Advisor to join their team.
  
Job Description for the help desk advisor position.
They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented help desk advisor to manage various customer service and help desk functions.
The ideal candidate will handle incoming calls and emails, process purchase orders, log jobs, and coordinate engineer bookings with stores.
You will play a crucial role in establishing service protocols and ensuring smooth operations.
  
Key Responsibilities for the help desk advisor position.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Send purchase orders to suppliers accurately and timely.
  • Log jobs and ensure all details are recorded correctly.
  • Book engineers and coordinate with stores to ensure appointments are scheduled.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Follow up with clients and suppliers to ensure services and orders are completed satisfactorily.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of customer service protocols and procedures.
  
Qualifications for the help desk advisor position.
  • Previous experience with a CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) system is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is beneficial.
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to handle challenging clients.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
