our client is a small independent structural design consultancy based in Norfolk and have been in operation for more than 10 years. They are run by experienced chartered engineers who have been working in the structural engineering industry in East Anglia for a number of years.

Due to increasing workload and a desire to build and expand the company they are looking to hire a graduate or junior structural engineer. You will get experience working on a wide range of structural engineering designs in all major design materials including steel/ RC/ masonry timber etc. You will work on buildings and structures projects in a wide range of sectors both onshore and offshore. Your role will involve both hand and computer generated structural analysis and design. You will also be working on Autocad to produce relevant drawings for the projects you will work on.

The company will provide ongoing mentorship, training and support in order to get chartered and to have a long and rewarding career in structural engineering design. Unfortunately this company do not have the ability to sponsor candidates who will require a visa either now or in the future. for this company you will either need a driving licence or be will to get one within 6 months as you will be expected to go on client and site meetings from time to time. 

As well as a good basic salary of between £25 and 35k (depending on experience) you will also receive: 25 days per annum plus UK bank holidays (additional holiday accrued based on a time served basis up to a maximum of 30 days per annum), Pension,  annual performance related bonus, work related travel cost reimbursement.
