Amazing Opportunity: Behaviour Buddy Wanted!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students who may face behavioural challenges? We are seeking a dedicated and understanding Behaviour Buddy to join our team.

Responsibilities:

As a Behaviour Buddy you will play a crucial role in providing additional support to students facimg behavioural challenges, promoting a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Individualised Support: Build strong, positive relationships with students, offering one-on-one support and guidance to help manage and improve behaviour.

Collaborative Intervention: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to the needs of individual students.

Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving challenges within the school setting encouraging effective communication and de-escalation techniques to create a calm and supportive atmosphere.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track behavioural progress, providing feedback and collaborating with the teaching team to adjust strategies as needed.

Positive Reinforcement: Implement positive reinforcement strategies, acknowledging and rewarding positive behaviours.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Enhanced DBS or be willing to complete one.
• Have previous experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour.
• Hold a relevant educational qualification (get in touch to see how we can support with this!)
• Demonstrate a compassionate and patient attitude, with a genuine commitment to understanding and supporting students facing behavioural challenges.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: £90 to £100 a day, depending on experience 

Location: Coventry, Warwickshire
