Actively seeking an enthusiastic Senior Site Manager to join a privately owned principal contractor on a permanent basis. This Principal contractor operates across the residential, student accommodation and commercial sector predominately. With over 300 employees and turnover of Circa £450million this growing business is looking for a Senior Site Manager to join their team for a commercial project in Bermondsey.

About the role of a Senior Site Manager

The Senior Site Manager candidate will be the Number two to the Project Manager whilst focusing on the project delivery of at £25million Commercial scheme. This project will involve part extension of steel frame and part refurbishment.

Responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager

• Ensure the project is running to programme and is compliant with Health & Safety.
• Strong focus on Quality Assurance.
• Manage and Motivate the Site team and subcontractors
• Run weekly progress meetings and Health & Safety meetings

Requirements for the Senior Site Manager role

• Experience with commercial schemes circa £20million.
• Steel frame and refurbishment experience
• Number two experience on site delivery experience, seeing a project through from start to finish.
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management desired
• Leadership ability
