Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced KS3 Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted "good" rated school to support students across years 7, 8 and 9 in their learning.

The school is a medium size mainstream Secondary School with a supportive teaching team.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
• Position - KS3 Teaching Assistant
• Type of work - KS3 Teaching Assistant (years 7,8 & 9)
• Contract type - Day to day supply/ short-term contract
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £85 per day
• Hours - 8:00AM - 4PM, plus parents evenings

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Classroom support experience in the UK
• Full clean driver's licence
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
