- PAY RATE: $55,000 - $75,500 Per Annum
- WORK TYPE: Permanent

JOB SUMMARY
Your role will be to ensure timely and accurate payment and reporting for a multi-state payroll as well as special payrolls like severance pay and certain bonuses, this position supervises the payroll team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Oversees the day-to-day management of payroll in accordance with stated policies, guidelines, and standards; this includes, but is not limited to, processing big bonuses and completing year-end reporting.
- Ensure that the biweekly payroll is processed.
- Ensures that all deadlines are met including the processing and review of established audit reports and collaboration with the Payroll Support Team for system maintenance and schedules
- Enforces deadlines for processing payroll.
- Examines payroll methods and protocols, such as time clock records, manual checks, and on-cycle payroll processing, among others.
- Collaborates on biweekly Processing Worksheets and SOX documentation with the Payroll Support Team.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in a comparable field
- Requires at least three (3) years of expertise managing payroll in a multi-state, multi-EIN setting.
- Demonstrated capacity to correctly and wisely implement pertinent laws and procedures in a variety of contexts
- Shown practical understanding of payroll, protocols, and systems in a high-volume, quick-paced production setting.
- Proven ability to keep payroll laws and regulations for taxes, garnishments, overtime, etc. in accordance
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) would be preferred.
