Job Overview
PRS are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our clients team on a mobile basis covering mostly Berkshire and surrounding areas.
This company are growing fast and winning lots of new contracts so there is lots of potential to grow with them.
The role is Monday to Friday with the option of overtime.
Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities
- Responsible for PPM, Proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames
- Responsible for other types of building services maintenance to include Fabric, HVAC, Mechanical and related tasks
- Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship
- Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
- Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
- Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- C&G NVQ 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- AM1/2 or JIB Gold Card Desirable
- 18th Edition
- Experience working on Maintenance within a commercial environment ideally within the facilities management sector.
