The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at our Mental Health NHS Trust in Chester. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals dealing with mental health issues across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in a mental health setting.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Administer medication and monitor side effects, ensuring all records are accurately maintained.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Offer support and guidance to families and caregivers.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Participate in regular training and professional development activities.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and professional standards.

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
• Current and valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
• Current and valid PMVA Certificate.
• Experience in a mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues across all age groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping individuals with mental health issues.
